In order to ensure the unity of units of measurement of measuring instruments in the Karakalpak branch, the department of “Metrological control of measuring instruments” carries out work on verification, calibration and metrological certification.
Pressure measurement laboratory
In the laboratory for measuring pressure values, work is carried out on the verification and metrological certification of pressure calibrators, pressure transducers, vacuum gauges, pressure gauges, deadweight pressure gauges, differential pressure gauges.
The laboratory is equipped with high-precision exemplary measuring instruments with a measurement range from minus 100 kPa to 600 MPa.
Laboratory of Physical and Chemical Measurements, Optical and Optical-Physical Measurements
In the laboratory of physico-chemical measurements, optical and optical-physical measurements, work is carried out on the verification of pH meters and ion meters, photoelectric colorimeters.
Laboratory for measuring geometric quantities
In the laboratory for measuring geometric quantities, work is carried out on the verification of measuring rods, various instruments for measuring length, calipers, caliper gauges, depth gauges and many other geometric measuring instruments.
Laboratory for verification of household gas meters
In the laboratory, qualified, experienced and professional specialists who carry out high-quality and reliable verification work based on the requirements of international and state standards have the opportunity to calibrate modern, high-precision natural gas meters with a measurement range of 0.016 to 25 m3/h.
Laboratory for verification of household water meters
The laboratory for verification of household water meters for legal entities and individuals has been modernized in order to calibrate drinking and hot water meters and has the ability to calibrate water meters with a measurement range of 0.03 m3/h to 5 m3/h.
Laboratory for Verification of Temperature Values
In the laboratory for verification of temperature values, work is carried out to carry out state verification of measuring equipment from minus 27 to 800.
Mass Verification Laboratory
The laboratory for verification of mass values has the ability to verify measuring equipment for mass values from 1 mg to 150 tn. The laboratory is equipped with modern exemplary measuring instruments.
