🔄 Director of the Uzbekistan National Institute of Metrology, L. Saidoripov, met with Deputy Director of the State Institute of Metrology of the Republic of Belarus (https://belgim.by/), Yu. Kozak.
📍The meeting took place within the framework of the 11th International Contest “Best Young Metrologist of COOMET”, held on 11–13 November 2025 in Tashkent under the Euro-Asian Cooperation of State Metrology Institutions (COOMET). The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the field of metrology.
✍️The parties discussed cooperation under the Agreement on Collaboration in Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements, signed between the two national metrology institutes in 2025. They exchanged views on experience sharing with Belarusian colleagues in developing new national standards and high-precision measuring instruments, and explored joint initiatives and areas of cooperation planned for 2026. The participants also exchanged opinions on current issues of international and regional importance in the field of metrology.
📈As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify bilateral and COOMET-level cooperation and to develop a roadmap for future joint activities.
