Youth Day Roundtable in Progress

✅ At this very moment, a ceremonial roundtable is being held at the Uzbek National Institute of Metrology, led by the Director of the Uzbekistan Agency for Technical Regulation, Mr. A. Jumanazarov, in honor of Youth Day.

✅ The event is attended by the leadership of the Agency and the Institute, industry specialists, and young employees.

✅ The roundtable discussion focuses on the following key areas:

🔹 Creating scientific and practical opportunities for youth and their role in enhancing sectoral capacity;
🔹 The involvement of young professionals in ongoing reforms in the fields of technical regulation, standardization, and metrology.

✅ In his Youth Day address, Director A. Jumanazarov emphasized that youth are the future of the nation, the foundation of progress and renewal, and that their participation in science and innovation is a vital guarantee of the country’s development.

✅ As part of the event, guests are taking part in a guided tour of metrology laboratories, viewing a youth-focused video, and exploring the “Book Fair.” In addition, a group of active young specialists from the Institute are being awarded certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts.

✅ In the scientific session, Dr. Umedjon Khalilov, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Chief Researcher at the U.A. Arifov Institute of Ion-Plasma and Laser Technologies, delivered a detailed presentation on the opportunities being created for scientifically talented youth, research in computer modeling of complex processes, and innovative approaches in the field.

✅ He also discussed ongoing projects, the formation of a new scientific school, and the importance of effective inter-institutional cooperation in advancing science. It was especially noted that such collaboration opens up new opportunities for young researchers to participate in projects, exchange experiences, and enhance their scientific potential.
