The role of metrology services in ensuring the quality and competitiveness of products is of great importance. Accurate measurements guarantee quality and safety.
The Navoi branch of the Uzbek National Institute of Metrology provides high-quality metrological services to enterprises and organizations operating in the region. Calibration (high-precision measurements) services have been introduced in the branch since 2021, and at the same time, further expansion of the field, introduction of new methods, and improvement of the qualifications of specialists are being carried out. In the past years, the branch has also expanded calibration services in the areas of measurement. In 2024, further improvement of this field, improvement of staff qualifications, development of new methods and expansion of the field were planned at the beginning of the year. Also, the work of comparing measuring instruments and certifying test equipment is expanding year by year. Employees of the branch have been providing metrological services in various fields in the region.
234 measuring instruments of 37 enterprises were calibrated at the branch.
