This meeting was attended by representatives of the national metrology bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, as well as responsible officials of Bureau of Standards.
The meeting was attended by officials of Uzbek National institute of metrology from the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the draft model law, which was improved taking into account proposals and comments made by the national bodies of participating countries, including those submitted by Uzbek National Institute of Metrology, was discussed in detail.
Following discussions, relevant decisions were made and minutes of meeting were approved by participants.
This meeting marked an important step toward further strengthening interstate cooperation in ensuring uniformity of measurements and establishing a modern and harmonized regulatory framework.
