🟦 NEUTRAL DENSITY FILTERS CALIBRATED

💬 The “Photometry” laboratory at the Uzbekistan National Institute of Metrology (http://nim.uz/) has successfully completed the calibration of neutral density filters using the National Standard for spectral transmittance and optical density.

💡 This process is crucial for improving the accuracy of measuring instruments and ensuring the reliability of optical density measurement tools used in various laboratories and production facilities.

🔄 The work was conducted in full compliance with the requirements of the C12.PR “Method for Calibrating Neutral Density Filters,” which was developed based on the technical and methodological documents from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This method allows for the highly accurate determination of the transmittance and optical density values for each filter.

📈 As a result, the accuracy and stability of the measuring instruments are ensured, creating an opportunity to obtain results in the field of optical measurements that meet international requirements.
