🔴 As part of the “Supporting the Reform of the National Quality Infrastructure” project, implemented by the Uzbekistan Technical Regulation Agency in cooperation with Germany’s Federal Institute of Physics and Technology (PTB), another training seminar has been organized.
🔵 The activities within this project are aimed at further developing the national metrology system, introducing measurement methods that comply with international standards, and enhancing the capacity of highly qualified specialists.
🟢 Within the framework of the seminar, specialists from the Geometrical and Mechanical Measurements Department of the Uzbekistan National Metrology Institute are currently undergoing advanced training at the National Institute of Metrology, Thailand (NIMT).
🟡 As part of the international knowledge exchange, they are learning to conduct the metrological verification of a high-precision Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 10360 international standard, assess its metrological characteristics, and acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills for these processes. For reference, the expenses of this training workshop are covered by the German Federal Institute of Physics and Technology (PTB).
🟢 This training process plays an important role in ensuring measurement accuracy, strengthening metrological traceability, and implementing advanced foreign practices into local applications.
