A significant international initiative has been successfully implemented within the framework of the cooperation memorandum signed between the Uzbek National Institute of Metrology (UzNIM) and the Kyrgyz Center for Accreditation (KCA).
For the first time, UzNIM specialists participated as international technical experts in the inspection and assessment process held at the Electrical and Radio-technical Measurements Laboratory of the Testing, Certification and Metrology Center located in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The evaluation process was carried out based on the international standard ISO 17020: Conformity Assessment – Requirements for the Operation of Various Types of Bodies Performing Inspection.
As part of this process, the laboratory’s infrastructure, staff qualifications, and technical equipment were thoroughly analyzed and assessed by UzNIM’s international experts.
UzNIM’s active involvement in this international assessment not only demonstrated the high qualifications and expertise of its specialists but also once again highlighted the institute’s growing reputation on the international stage.
