A seminar on innovative ideas on metrology was held

Yesterday, Euro-Asian cooperation of national metrological institutions (COOMET) organized an online seminar with the participation of the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM).

The seminar focused on the activities of young, researching metrologists who are interested in the implementation of innovative ideas.
As part of this initiative, a survey is being conducted to identify innovative approaches that can contribute to the development of metrology in the next decade.
The “CIPM 2030+ Strategy” will be supplemented with the results of these works and will contribute to the development and improvement of the field of metrology in the next decade.

A number of specialists of the Uzbek National Institute of Metrology participated in this international seminar held in English. During the conversation with Islamjon Abdumajidov-Fung (MSL, New Zealand), metrologist of the institute, an offer was made to hold international comparisons within the framework of “APMP-BIPM Young Metrologists Vision 2050+ Online Workshop”. Also, Afzalkhan Anvarov – Dr. With Oijai Ongrai (NIMT, Thailand), he put forward a proposal to organize the primary sample complex of liquids density (kg/m3) at the Uzbek National Institute of Metrology. Azamat Taubaldiyev – interviewed Alphonsus KIPKEMBOI, (KEBS, Kenya) on the determination of the dosage unit swallowed in water.
